The wilderness must be explored! For one day, students will learn about the plants and animals of Minnesota, the ecosystem and conservation. With their wilderness notebooks (provided) in tote, explorers will travel around the Rapids Lake Nature Reserve in Jordan, MN where they will record all of the flora and fauna they see. Explorers will start the day in Belle Plaine, travel to the Nature Center after lunch, and return back to Belle Plaine at the end of the day with a book filled with observations and a mind full of memories!
